One flat rate of £39 an hour for everything, including your first lesson and test day.

No gimmicks, no packages, just one fair hourly price.

When are lessons?

Monday to Friday, typically 8am to 5pm. Out-of-hours lessons (evenings and weekends) are available on request.

Why we recommend 2-hour lessons

In an hour, by the time you’ve settled in and warmed up, it’s nearly time to head home. In two hours you have time to learn something properly, practise it, and drive it on real roads. Most learners are ready for their test sooner this way.

Already had some lessons?

No problem. Just book a normal 2-hour lesson at £78. Your instructor will see how you drive and tell you honestly how far off test standard you are.

Theory test

You book your own theory test at https://www.gov.uk/book-theory-test. If you’re not sure how, your instructor can help you through it.

Test day

On test day you hire the car and your instructor at the same £39 an hour, with a minimum of 2 hours. That usually covers a warm-up drive, the test itself, and getting you home. Your instructor will tell you beforehand how many hours you’ll need.

Booking your driving test and why we no longer do intensive courses

Who books my driving test?

You do. Since 12 May 2026, the law says learners have to book and manage their own car driving test. Instructors and booking services aren’t allowed to do it for you any more.

Can I move my test if I’m not ready?

Only a little. Since 31 March 2026 you get 2 changes to your test appointment, and swapping with another learner counts as one of them. Since 9 June 2026 you can only move your test to one of the 3 nearest test centres. If you’ve used both changes, you have to cancel and book again. You only get your money back if you cancel at least 10 full working days before the test.

So what should I do?

Pick a date you’re realistically going to be ready by. When you book, add your instructor’s ADI reference number so the test is on a day they’re free. We’ll tell you honestly when we think you’re ready.

Do you still do intensive courses?

No. Intensive courses relied on us getting a test date for the end of your course. We’re not allowed to book tests for you now, and you can’t keep moving your date, so we can’t promise a test at the end of a one-week course any more. Rather than sell you something we can’t deliver, we’ve moved to hourly lessons. If you want to learn quickly, you can book several 2-hour lessons a week. Just ask.

I’ve already booked an intensive course. Is it still going ahead?

Yes. Every intensive course already booked with us will go ahead as planned.
